مایعی هست که باعث جمع شدن قلع در یک نقطه میشه و از پخش شدن قلع روی بورد جلوگیری میکنه و محل پایه قطعات روی بورد به هم اتصالی نمیکندد. بیشتر برای مواردی که یک چیپ نصی چیپ یا آی سی هایی که پایه های ریز و نزدیک به هم دارند استفاده میشه. مخصوصا وقتی که یک چیپ رو بر میداری و میخوای دوباره روی بورد بذاری.

هم ایرانیش توی بازار هست (بسیار کیفیت بد) که خیلی هم ارزون هست وهم ژاپنی ( کیفیت بسیار بالا) و قیمت خیلی بالاتر. یک زمانی 2 لیتر ایرانیش رو 2000 تومان گرفتیم که بعد پسس دادم و ژاپنی رو برای 200 میلی لیتر 14000 تومان. ولی قابل مقایسه نبودند.

می شه بگین از کجا میشه این مایع رو خرید؟
شنیدم این مایع برای خنک کردن سطحی که می خواهیم لحیم کنیمم استفاده میشه درسته؟

تا اونجا که من میدونم کاربرد اصلی این مایع برای کارهای مونتاژکاری با تیراژ بالاست که اصطلاحاً با حوضچه قلع لحیم میشه. و اگه نباشه قلع اصلاً به مدار نمی چسبه و فیبر میسوزه.
راستش یکی از دوستان یه 20 لیتری ایرانی از نوع روغنی گرفته که من 1 لیترشو با 2 لیتر آب مخلوط کردم . به نظر من که عالی بود.
یه نوع دیگه هم با مارک PINARCO یا یه همچیمن اسمی خودم خریدم که رنگش آبی بود . اونم خیلی خوب بود ولی بعد از سرد شدن رنگ قلع روی مدار کمی کدر میشد.

it is super simple


1. find nitrocellulose thinner (used for some paints, for some lacquers ..) or isopropyl alcohol or acetone (pure stuff not that nail removing bs filled with oils and other garbage) - isopropyl is what commercial stuff uses and should be available in 1l bottles in pharmacies (not same as ethanol !! that pharmacies also sell)

2. get your self rosin for violin or cello or similar instrument. They use the rosin (colophony, kalafonium .. many names) to make the bow "sticky" so that it has good contact with wires hence they produce nice sound. You should be able to get this rosin in any store that sell equipment for musicians. Also beauty salons use colophony resin (for I have no idea what). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosin

3. put the rosin on the big sheet of thick paper, close the paper around it, and grind the rosin inside the paper (you can press it with a bear bottle for e.g. )... do this until you ground it to pieces smaller then 3x3mm

4. take a glass bottle and fill with thinner/acetone/isopropyl and add grounded rosin in

5. mix and leave for few days for rosin to fully dissolve

voila - you have yourself flux

the ratio of thinner/rosin really depends on what kind of flux you like .. you can disolve A LOT rosin in nitro .. start small .. take a smaller "bottle" (I for e.g. use ~30ml bottle from some nose drops) and add a tea spoon of crushed rosin in it .. that's good base point. Then if it evaporates too quickly and does not flow nice - add more rosin, on the other hand if it is too sticky and leaves mess on the board, add bit more thinner/acetone/alcohol in the mix. After 3-4 batches you will get a hang of what is the perfect mixture for you

Btw, I personally use nitro thinner to make flux as it is easy available in any paint shop here .. but note that nitro and acetone will dissolve most plastic (ABS is vulnerable, PP and PE are safe) so you might want to try isopropyl as it is
gentler on the plastic. Most commercial flux mixtures are isopropyl+colofony ..
